McMichael art gallery trip
Exciting news! Our grade 8s will be visiting the McMichael art gallery next month as an extension to the art curriculum.
A permission form has been sent home today with information regarding the trip. This is an excellent opportunity for students to see beautiful and original Canadian artwork, and to create their own masterpiece.
The permission form and payment are due back by this Weds, Nov 25. The cost of the trip is $25 for the bus and the museum. Cheques should be made payable to BAPS.
The following classes will be going on these dates:

Parents of students in Mme Shifman's and Mr. Mulligan's homeroom classes
Students will be signing up for the class today for homework. This site will be used for homework updates, and as a place to upload assignment and project worksheets.
Please take the time to explore the site this evening with your child. Mme Shifman is hoping that this will prove to be a valuable communication tool between the home and school, and provide your child with extra support outside the classroom.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to give Mme Shifman a call.
Thank you.

Welcome to Grade 8!
You will notice a section of important links for you and your child on the right upper hand side of the homepage. These links will allow you to access the History and Geography, and Science textbooks online. As we do not have enough textbooks for all students, they will not be permitted to take them home. This online access allows students to do homework and study without having to take the textbook home.
There will be very important information going home about high schools, registration, course selection and open houses later this year. All of the information will be posted to the blog.
Thank you.
